Lara Michell
Lara first appeared on the Portland music scene in 1996 as Carmina Piranha’s flamenco-inspired acoustic guitarist. Since then, she has released four critically acclaimed solo records of dark dreamy acoustic music, and works industriously as a supporting musician in both live and studio settings. She currently performs with Piranha spin-off Carmina Luna, pop collective Dirty Martini, swing jazz ensemble The Stolen Sweets, and her latest project A Simple Colony with Michael Dodson.
